The Dovetail Clamp with 1 Brass Screw and Pressure Shoe is designed for mounting Vixen/Celestron telescopes. With the quick coupling feature, you can safely attach your telescope or camera. The clamp can be directly screwed onto photo tripods, making it particularly suitable for building double connections where a high load capacity is required. The areal clamping mechanism provides a powerful grip while protecting your accessories from unattractive pressure marks.

Whether you own a telescope from Vixen, Skywatcher, Orion, or Teleskop Service, you can simply attach a GP level dovetail bar to the telescope. In most cases, this bar is already included with the telescope. The bar is easily clamped and fixed in place using the pressure screw. Additionally, you can adjust the telescope's position within the clamp to achieve better equilibrium.

The clamp itself can be adapted to a mount, counterweight shaft, or another dovetail bar, allowing you to create a double connection. Its flexibility is further enhanced by the 8 countersunk bores: 7 bores for M6 and 1/4" screws, and 4 M6 bores spaced 38 mm apart in a square pattern, as well as 1 M6 bore lengthwise. In the center, there is a 1/4" tripod thread, with two additional drilled (but not threaded) holes to accommodate screws up to 6 mm in diameter, with a center-to-center spacing of 27 to 43 mm.

Simply screw the dovetail clamp onto your photo tripod or tripod head, and you can then mount your telescope on the tripod. The generously sized 25 mm wide clamping surface firmly presses the bar against the opposing side of the clamp, providing a stable and secure connection.

The areal clamping design not only protects your accessories but also ensures a highly stable connection. The two drilled (but not threaded) holes in the center can accommodate screws up to 6 mm in diameter, with a center-to-center spacing of 27 to 43 mm.

For attaching the clamp, you have 7 bores available for M6 and 1/4" screws. This includes 4 M6 bores spaced 38 mm apart in a square pattern, as well as 1 M6 bore lengthwise. The 1/4" tripod thread in the middle is complemented by the two drilled (but not threaded) holes to accommodate screws up to 6 mm in diameter, with a center-to-center spacing of 27 to 43 mm. All the functions, particularly the clamping mechanism, are fully maintained, and the clamping screw can be used without any issues.

The 1/4" photo thread allows you to easily attach the dovetail bar to your photo tripod or tripod head. The GP Level dovetail bar, measuring 228 mm in length, features long bores for M6 and 1/4" cylinder head screws, as well as the 1/4" photo thread, making it ideal for building dual or side-by-side mounts. The flat installation surfaces provide excellent support for your telescope, and the smooth side profile allows you to easily balance the telescope by shifting it.
